BoundBound, aired April 15, 2005 Well, folks, it's over. Enterprise won't be renewed, and the Berman and Braga abonimation of a finale is what will stand forever as the end of Enterprise. This episode was full of fun, but when I heard Manny Coto had taken another job I knew Enterprise would be no more. Sadly, Coto doesn't give Archer any dignity in this episode. The story? Well, Archer makes another of his incredibly lame-o-decisions to trust the alien of the week and to ignore Malcolm's sound advice. Archer is such a moron. And, as a result of yet another of his moronic decisions the ship is nearly destroyed. But Trip and T'Pol save the day!
OK, I don't get this. Why does Trip say this, and then later say he
asked Hernandez for a transfer? How many days have passed? T'Pol: "It's not important." T'Pol: "No." Let's go with the show's strengths. Trip finds that Kelby is smitten,
non-responsive, and confines him to quarters. Actually, it means *fool* now, but Trip and T'Pol are too nice and have
suppressed that so that The Fool won't know. Sigh. Trip and T'Pol, the two
of you are too loyal. Trip, our intrepid hero, doesn't know why he is immune. Through the bond, T'Pol is protecting Trip. Hmm, will she be requiring
payment for her protective services? Is this the new series to replace our
beloved Enterprise! "T'Pol of the Vulcan Mafia?" Is that what we have come
to? (Probably.) Hmm. What is Trip's interprteation of the word "mate," and what is
T'Pol's? Does Trip believe they *made love?* *Had sex?* The first on who
accurately defines Trip's interpetation of the Vulcan concept of the term
"mating" wins! Images, thought, a grocery list, you name it! And Trip forgot the milk
last week, so clearly Trip and T'Pol aren't...TRULY BONDED!!!!
Gasp! T'Pol: His grappler's directly above our main deflector relay. And Trip responds: Trip: Get up to the bridge. I'll be right behind you. T'Pol knows immediately what Trip has seen and why it is important, and
how they can get detached from the orion ship. Gag that Trip had to admit that Kelby was an engineer. What a black
mark on the profession! Trip: I guess we proved it again." T'Pol: "We do seem to work well together" A whole mess of folks have made commentsEEEEE!!!! Wow... I can't wait for the comments. much. But I loved the fight between Trip and Kelby with Trip coming off
the winner, I loved the TnT interaction, and WAHOOOO, loved the kiss! Way
to go. My new favorite episode, except for those green
women! Yes, I did add some pictures, and I did delete a couple and added some that were similar but I thought showed their interactions better. oh my god they are so married, i loved i am going to wait to see it again on sunday i also taped it too, i can't wait, , they love each other so much. Also, Tpols always had a wry sense of humor uncharacteristic of Vulcan's but now I enjoy seeing it a little more pronounced. It was funny to see that even Dr.Phlox was a little unhinged and disheveled by the Orions, usually he's so calm and unflapable. aw what the hell...EEEEEE!.....waiting for little comments! :o) Hey, Andrea in Germany the DVD for season 4 should be out in Novenber if I remember correctly. The caps are everything I'd hoped for. So gorgeous. This episode was the icing on the cake in terms of my Trip and T'Pol hopes and dreams. It took lots for T'Pol to admit she wanted Trip to come back, and when he told her he'd put in for his transfer back to Ent. days before, my heart melted for the pair of them. They've put their feelings for each other sort of out there, and whatever else we see is gravy. I second that 'Go TrekUnited,' but whether there's more show or no, Trip and T'Pol live on because their love takes a lickin' and keeps right on tickin'. You go, Trip and T'Pol--we'll love ya forever! Trip says he asked for the transfer back to Enterprise "three days ago." T'Pol went through three outfits in this ep. She started with red, moved to purple, then we see blue. Does that cover the 3 days? And what does it mean that he made the decision when she was wearing red, before he knew about the bond? I guess it means he loves her regardless and she looks pretty damn good in red!!! :) I can't wait to download this ep! The episode wasn't that great but the T/T scenes were awesome!!!!!!!! the Orion slaves knowing about the pheromone issue? could they not have

"Doctor Paxton show T'Pol and Trip their baby. yeah Anne .D. he was in a "Cage"I guess and "Trip" says something like "I am so going to hurt you when I get out of here" or something like that, and then "Trip" get's shocked or something Like that. It looked like it was "Archer" but it could be somebody else. Oh thanks for the picture It's so cute isn't it?? Trip says to Archer "I'll kill you when I get out of this". Archer then order Phlox (I think) to "Break him!" (i.e. torture him until he breaks down). I'm hoping that the shot of T'pol walking down the hall with a gun is one in which she's on her way to resucue Trip. =D amen Amandakim on your last thing. Thanks for confirming what I thought. Between Kelby saying that Archer wasn't ready to let Trip go and T'Pol clueing him in on the daydreams, he may have finally got it in his head that he belonged on Enterprise. wowwwww amazing episode. their relationship is still sketchy but it's headed in the right direction. to T'mar's comment above me, i have to disagree. t'pol was very nonchalant about their relationship back in harbinger. Trip had to have a comeback. and the orion slave girls did in fact turn out to be the major players in the end! it was really funny to see Malcolm's reaction. our normally calm, collected Brit was gaga over those green-skinned prostitutes! once again, T'Pol takes on the role of mama of the flock, carefully protecting her Captain and friend from himself. her concern for him when he came onto the bridge after the scene with the orion chick suggests she considers him to be like a brother. Some great Trip moments too. Like when he beat the h@!! out of Kelby. that was funny!! The @$$ deserved it!! And the whole "Trip-to-the-rescue"...again Trip saves Archer's @$$. When is our mo Capitan going to learn? I think he needs for Q to teach him a lesson since experience obviously doesn't teach him anything! And the scene in Sickbay was SOO funny. The look on first Malcolm's face then on Archer's when T'Pol made that joke was priceless!! And then the moment where Archer chided T'Pol saying she might be picking up some of Trip's habits...LOL! Trip, the ever-obedient Thy'la, turns away under the intensity of T'Pol's glare. Then, last but not least, the corridor. Once again, our heroes have saved Archer's @$$. They really do make a great team. And the kiss...I was jumping up and down squealing! And the look on T'Pol's face when Trip told her he'd requested a transfer back to Enterprise 3 days ago...LOL! Priceless!! I really hope they admit they love each other within the next five eps!!! PS--I know my comments are long, but i like to recap my opinion on all the twists I like. As for the three days, Navaar (?) told Archer she'd already been his property for two days when the good captain went to visit her. And with T'Pol's wardrobe change, I think that confirms that at least three days had passed. I don't think Trip was fibbing when he told Kelby he'd be leaving. I think he just hadn't made up his mind yet that Enterprise was where he belonged. Heck, he probably figured he had to stick around to keep Archer out of trouble so the captain could go on to help form the Federation. ::rolls eyes:: Anyway, thanks again! whooopieeeeeeeeeeeeee, finally and that took 4 seasons, image how long it will take for them to get married (I am just not watching the last episode) it will take them another four years, so even if we did get a 5, 6 or 7th season, it will take them much longer. hahahahahaha she laught like a farmer who has to go to the dentist, stupid paramount attention:spoiler but as I've heard Trip is going to die!! particular. Hey, Just wondering. Did anyone notice that in picture "15a" Trip's
patch is Columbia, however, in picture "37" he is wearing Enterprise's
patch? Interesting... Having heard about TnT having a part in this episode, I was waiting for all the scenes with the green women to go away while I watched, although, it took me a bit to figure out why Archer was so uncharacteristically wrapped up in the Orions' spell. It also took me a while to realize Trip wasn't affected... was kinda funny as I was watching it a second time with my husband who hadn't seen it. He's like, "Trip's immune to their spell!" or something regarding his connection to T'Pol. Knowing there was no way he could've known that much so early in the episode, I frowned at him and said, "How did you know?" He's like, "Uh.. I was kidding. Is he really?" I've loved reading everyone's comments about this episode... they're all full of excitement! :D I totally didn't catch some of the details people posted, like TnT's shared looks while they stood in Sickbay talking about T'Pol's joke, or T'Pol rolling her eyes in the hallway at the end. I loved how T'Pol finally got tired of doing things the Vulcan way by shrouding her true feelings and expecting him to be fine with it. Finally, she realizes she must admit to him the truth, and uses his nickname twice... And dang it, you're right, what was Trip thinking by not embracing her? Heh heh heh... probably not much as he was being suddenly kissed. I didn't expect it, even though my husband totally called it... yet again >_< And myst123 is so right... they DIDN'T talk about what they were going to do with the deflector relay, so they MUST have shared thoughts! That sure was the yummiest kiss ever. *sigh* I agree with b?? above, I think Trip asked for the transfer after his first tiff with Kelby & T'pol asked him about the day dreams. It might be possible that it was even after Kelby let the Orian chick stroll around engineering & put his baby at risk. IF that happened shortly after breakfast & he asked for his transfer in the afternoon the time can fit. As for why they allowed male guards to oversee the Orions...they were placed in the decon chamber. It should have been set up so that all biological & chemical agents were contained. The fact that Archer turned into an instant lap dog should have resulted in some changes ...as for close circuit TV's, that would have been too logical. SPOILER...
Everyone's comments are really fun to read...but the thing that made me laugh the most in this episode is the way Trip says "Guess we got a lot of work to do.." He was so cute how he said that...course, I'm wondering now if he means just the ship's repairs or their relationship as well. Yeah, Trip's "Guess we got a lot of work to do..." Sounded too playful
to just be refering to the engines, or the ship... When Trip says, "This thing between us isn't that big a deal," is he belittling their relationship? I'm not sure how to interpret that line. I don't know about the rest of you commentors, but I went over to the boards at television without pity, and MAN are those people asinine. "Misogyny" this and "homophobe" that. Anyway, they're going off on how this scene rips off Star Wars. I don't know what their problem is, because frankly I was rather touched by this scene. I haven't seen any other episode except the very first one, and that final scene INSTANTLY made me a trip/t'pol shipper and made me willing to give up a freakin' kidney to get a couple more years of that story. This is amazing. I don*t really understand what's going on, but I like

About that deflector array scene. About that 'This thing between us isn't that big a deal'. I just think it's Trip saying that he knew he pushed her to say things Vulcans normally don't. But he uses this understatement since Vulcans aren't that direct. But he knows she will interpret is as being a very strong gesture made for a Vulcan. Suppose she also realizes his meaning playfull manner. And in a way, the whole of season 4 is sorta compressed in that hallway
kissing scene. Great episode....I am so hooked on the Trip/Tpol thing that waiting for the next episode is killing me. If the writiers would only let us have what we want....more interaction between the two. Enuff of the "come here...no get away" games with these two....Gawd that is frustrating you know, I just watched the preview again, and I noticed that "Trip" sounded really weird. I don't know but he sounded drifferent. hmm. I just got maybe Connor just used his regular voice instead. Becuase doesn't Connor put on that accent for the show?? because i know for a fact he was born in Washington. well, maybe it was just me. i just want to say thank you for the pics and storyline as this episode got bumped for baseball and i couldn't find a replay-thanks for the fix! I'm just afraid that when Trip says, "this thing between us isn't that big a deal", he means that he isn't going to take the relationship too seriously. See, that's the opposite of what I wanted him to say. He should have been like, "You want me back? Damn straight. Guess what? I already made the decision, because I wanted to come back. To you." You know, something along those lines. But I guess he DID make her say that she wanted him, so he's not going to ignore the relationship...oh, the miscommunication. Oh, there's so much to say, but a lot's already been said, doesn't need repeating... But I particularly loved T'Pol's facial expression as she said "I want
you to come back"; difficult to see in a single pic frame....you have to
watch it. It's like she's finally surrendering, and kind of a look of
relief as she does...almost a smile...ALMOST... Oh yea, I didn't care for the pink lipstick. I just watched the episode tonight (I'm in the Philippines, watched it with my fellow Star Trek Club members), and I couldn't help myself but to run home and visit your page just to see your view on this... and oh hell, I can't agree more with what all these people said. This is the best T'RIPOL episode yet!!!!! It gets better and better. I'll be thinking about this for a whole week, until next wednesday for the next ep. Ahhhhh ... Vulcan Imzadi. I think he's now doing the same thing to her, perhaps to make clear how such words feel or something like that. but I don't think he's not taking the relation seriously I don't know if I'm right cos I wasn't able to watch it but I would make sense. Especially because today I saw an episode of another American series (Boston Public) where exactly this thing is going on between two of the teachers (Jeri Ryan and I-don't-know-what's-his-name. So I think this could be the explanation.

Believe it or not, Nick, it means "profoundly moving" or "touching". Just a nice, intimate moment between the 2 of them. I've heard that "In A Mirror, Darkly" is not only about the crew from the dark alternate universe but also about "our" crew. The alternate crew is also changing "our" crew's uniforms, I think the uniforms from the episodes "Demons" and "Terra Prime". I also read thatmost of the main character men are going to be in red shirts. mmm yummy. Thanks. Hi there. I loved the Trip-T'pol moments of this episode. I hope that their relationship finally goes somewhere. I want a happy ending for the two. I'm not excited about the series finale but I'm excited about the Trip-T'pol relationship. I'm sad that the show is ending. I'm even more sad that we can't see any more Trip-T'pol scenes. I hope someone writes a really good Enterprise novel with lots of Trip-T'pol moments. Kind of like the ST TNG novel Imzadi which had lots of Riker-Troi moments. Even if we won't be seeing any Enterprise eps, I hope we'll be reading about it. I'm surely going to patronize the upcoming Enterprise novels. Anyway, I can't help but comment about the nice Trip-T'pol kiss. It sure looks like a very wet kiss to me with the way that Trip is wiping his lips after their romantic kiss. They better be showing more wet kisses on the finale. I love this episode it was one of the best T&T i love the look he gives in response to her query about the day dreams:
"Uh, no. Nothing comes to mind." I LOVE THIS EPISODE IT WAS THE GREATEST . Sorry I'm four weeks behind, but I had to mention that this ep is just delicious. Knowing that the final ep is going to be mostly about Riker and Troi makes this even more bittersweet. TV Guide's sinop for the final ep is scary, to say the least. Let's hope if anyone dies it's Travis...so I can finally come out of my coma having to watch him onscreen. finally they kiss! But was Trip saying that he didn't think the relationship was big! aaa..why can't they both sit down and tell each other that they are in love. It's that simple! Why deny what's clearly there! When trip is trying to continue the relation tpol uisn't, when tpol is trip isn't! This is so confusing. i love this episode the best one i'v seen so far yeeeeeeeeeeee
