Trip and Archer aren't responding to hails. T'Pol is worried.


Sensor logs damaged. Traces of human blood, both Captain's and Commander Tucker's. Reed believes they were abducted, but not without a fight.


"Set a course for Keto-Enol."


The transport ship on its way to Canamar, a penal colony.


The shackles.


Archer tells Zoumas they are accused of being smugglers.


Zoumas: "I wouldn't want to be accused of smuggling. They'll probably make an example of you."


T'Pol wants to know where Trip is. Oh, and the Captain as well.


For a moment there, it looked like Trip had met a meal he didn't like.


The Nausicaan invites Trip to share.


What?


Whew! What a relief! Trip refuses to share his food. So far, T'Pol is the only one with whom he has offered to share his food.
Hmm, but didn't he know she would refuse? Is that a fair example of his love and devotion?
Sorry! Back to the story.


Trip receives his own electric shock because he thanked the guards for shocking the Nausicaan.


He drops his food in the process.


Our boy is gasping in pain, trying to catch his breath.


Zoumas warns Trip that the Nausicaans have nasty tempers and asks what Trip and Archer were smuggling.


Trip explains that he is an engineer and Archer is a starship captain.


Zoumas ponders his own stupidity for not using the excuse himself. Trip is uncertain what to make of this alien.


Mug shots of Archer and Trip. The crew finds out the two were intercepted and taken because they had what appeared to be contraband. An Enolian official tells T'Pol and Reed that he has contacted the transport crew to let them know a mistake has been made and that Enterprise is expected and can pick up Archer and Trip.


Fear that the horrid picture of Trip will be the last she will see of her man, T'Pol informs the alien that he will accompany them to ensure no more mistakes are made.


What if T'Pol can't find me? I mean, what if Enterprise can't find us?


Archer hopes someone will listen to them at the Canamar processing station.


Just as Archer and Trip are about to be released, Kuroda, the alien, frees himself from his shackles using a device hidden under the skin of his wrists and overpowers the guards.

(If anyone is wondering how I suddenly am able to identify the names and species of these aliens, I've been using zealousgirl's handy-dandy Early Edition report posted on the HoTBBS! Thanks ZG!)


Trip sends a worried glance to Archer as they watch the guards being beaten.


Archer returns a concerned glance.


Zoumas asks if they can be released as well because everyone has been in the restraints for three days. The answer is a definite no.


Archer asks if Kuroda knows how to fly the transport and that, if not, as a smuggler he is one fine pilot. Kuroda agrees to let Archer pilot but not to let Trip help. Archer is provided with directions where to take the transport.


Hoshi picks up a distress signal from a ship near the rendez-vous coordinates. T'Pol is even more worried. She tells the Enolian official to contact his ships in the area to respond to the distress signal.


Trip's seatmate, Zoumas, talks non-stop about food, and Trip isn't intrigued. A subtle clue Trip is worried, too. Zoumas recommends Trip visit a particular surgeon to get his face altered. We learn that Trip is satisfied with his own face just as it is.


Zoumas continues to talk.


Zoumas lost 3 toes and bumps against Trip as his jokes that of course Trip wouldn't have noticed.


Trip is not amused...


...and asks to change seats. His request is refused.
Meanwhile, Archer and Kuroda see two Enolian patrol ships following them. (Why didn't Archer tell Kuroda that the noise was something other than "two vessels approaching from aft?" Archer needs to learn to dissemble a little.)


Trip works to vent plasma, which Archer then ignites to throw the patrol ships off their tail. It works, but Trip is shackled again next to his fav seat partner.


T'Pol is beginning to think she will never see Trip alive again. Now she is informed that the patrol ships have been given order to destroy the prison transport.

Trip: "Enough!"


I've loved hearing your stories but enough is enough.


I can't even put my fingers in my ears.


Ten minutes of silence, that is all I ask.
Zoumas' feelings are hurt.


I'm sorry I snapped at you...


...but this isn't exactly the best place to socialize.


Archer tries to convince Kuroda to let Trip help, but is refused. Kuroda tells Archer how he came to be a criminal. Then he tells Archer that, once they leave, the transport ship will be destroyed and the other prisoners killed. No one will look for dead men, he says.


They find the transport ship and Reed finds Archer and Trip. He wants to use the transporter but is told by the Enolian official the ship is heavily shielded.


Archer, calling Trip "Tucker" whenever he refers to him, talks Kuroda into letting Trip fix the damage done by the patrol ships.


Trip takes the Nausicaan out with one quick blow to the head.


In turn, Trip is shot by Kuroda because friendly Zoumas warns Kuroda about Trip's intentions to ambush him.


Our boy is once again in pain! T'Pol, where are you?


Reed to the rescue!


Archer tosses Trip a weapon. Nice catch, Trip!


Archer is ditching the ship. He'll join Enterprise in a moment.


Archer and Kuroda fight. Kuroda locks himself in the cockpit. Archer gets back on Enterprise.


Kuroda realizes the ship is indeed in a decaying orbit and that death is certain.


Trip and Archer are back. T'Pol is irritated Archer is blocking her view of Trip.


Thankfully, Archer moves out of the way. What is this? Trip is refusing to look back at T'Pol? **What took her so long. I was almost killed! (Trip can be a tad hard on T'Pol sometimes.)**


Archer is not interested in apologies.


He and Trip almost wound up in Canamar. How many others are there who were also falsely arrested? "You wanted a report? You've got one," Archer snaps.


T'Pol follows Trip to his quarters to make up.

Oh my gosh! THat Trip and the alien guy OMG!! I was Rolling on the floor laughing, that look Trip kept having, SO GREAT LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Oh could not contain myself... T'Pol seemed well worried about her guys.. AKA Trip hee hee I was happy..

Great pictures as always! You really captured Trip's attempt at an apology well. It seemed like such a struggle for him to say "sorry"! :-) I'm glad you also captured T'Pol looking beyond Archer to Trip when the two men returned to the ship. Too bad he didn't look up to meet her gaze, though.

Thanks for the lovely pics. Trip's facial expressions were wonderful as always. Looking forward to seeing this episode when it airs here in Britain.

Yeah! You got my favorite expression (pic #20) just as he is forcing out an apology to Zoumas. The eyes rolled back and his face tense - it sure looked painful for him to do. ROFLMAO!

Did you see the way T'Pol was looking at Trip and
Archer's butts in that last scene! No wonder she had to walk with her hands behind her back.

I haven't added my two cents (American) yet?? Gah, I'm falling behind...

myst, can you possibly-if-you-have-time-and-it's-no-big-deal-if-you-don't capture Trip's expression after the seaweed face guy nudges him with his shoulder? That had me laughing out loud. *Possibly* my favorite Trip expression thus far. Or at least in the top three.

I'm waiting for the comments to be put up-especially the one with Trip rolling his eyes at Zoumas. LOL!! What a great capture, myst!

By then Jon had tried to set up the automatic distress signal and he told mr nasty that he had taken the communications off line only to see Mr nasty punch it out"now it is offline"..

so he probably was concerned that Mr nasty would have double checked if he told a lie that could be found out.

Also it was pretty smart to refer to trip as just Tucker and his partner , engineer ect..

The more impersonal it was the less likely they would drag trip up front and put a weapon to his head in case they stopped trusting jon.. something they probably would do if they knew trip was his friend.

Actually he pushed his luck considering how many times he asked for him.

And it was to bad trip didnt know this.. he was feeling a little neglected..

You also see it when she is listening to Jon's log.
As Jon says trip's name she turns her head and her eyes blink several times..
hmm trying to batten down the hatches on an emotional repsonse..

At the end Jon .. well he glanced at her but her eyes are on Trip from the time that the hatch opens and even when Jon walks past her.

At this time Trip could be looking at her again but you cant tell.

She only glances at Jon when he talks to Phlox.. trying to see if her guy is hurt and needs to go to sick bay..

And then her eyes follows trip..
especially when jon and trip first start walking down the hall before jon confronts the official.

As they first start walking her eyes are directly on trip.

Wonderful captures! I'll remember this episode as being the one of Trip, 'the man of a thousand grimaces.' Ya've got to love him. The captions
under the captures sublimating what was on T'Pol's mind are priceless! Great stuff, as usual. After each episode, I look foward to Trip and T'Polers 'caught in the act' screen caps. Thanks you plucky guys

WONDERFUL as always... especially loved the caps of trip rolling his eyes... i loved that part.... if there were an award for facial expressions, trip would win it in every episode..

Trip and Zoumas - that was one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time! Connor was absolutely awesome in this! Funny thing is, I have known a person or two just like Zoumas so I know just where Trip is coming from.....
