Doctor's OrdersDoctor's Orders, aired 2/18/04 Well, I liked it! Phlox and T'Pol were good together.
A whole mess of folks have made commentsmyst, I was going to mention that no one would probably view Phlox as a sexual object in all his nekkid glory solely for the fact that he's male. It's a shame about that double standard, still to this day, isn't it? Anyway, I liked this one, particularly towards the end. Lot's of fun lines and facial expressions. "I'm a physician, not an engineer!" HA! Great caps, myst! I enjoyed this episode very much. I didn't see Trip's reaction to finding out he'd be put into a comatose state, though. When he put his head back and looked up, my first thought was Similitude. Poor guy! And I loved the Archer/Trip exchanges at the beginning. Seemed like the old days for just a moment, even if they were non-verbal! plumtuckered, I thought I had captured that shot, but guess not so I added it in. Yes, Dawson has Trip and Archer exchange a number of glances in the one scene they had. Don't see that too often from other directors. Dawson seems to like their friendship and puts those little details in the eps she directs. I love this episode, especial referenced scene to one of the 'Twilightlight Zone' episode. Great job with screen caps! Quick too! Great screen caps.... Does T'pol always sitting in the messhall alone ?? Poor T'pol.... Just look at her, before Phlox is joining her in the end of the eps.... All theese crew members sitting together, and in the middle - T'pol is sitting alone.... There is a nice song for t'pol and trip. I downloaded it along time ago. It's from a video of Paris and torres.... " Sarah Mclachlan - Ice Cream " VERY NICE SONG is it me or did anyone else notice the position of the watering can... hmmm This episode was pretty good. They totally got us towards the end. T'Pol was just a hallucination. I was like woah, wasn't expecting that. Now I'm really looking forward to next weeks episode, looks like there'll be a bunch of T/T scenes!!! LOL, ivy, no, not until you mentioned it did I notice the positioning of the watering can. :D Fantastic episode, gave me a bit of the creeps but wonderfully done for the theme it pitted, every episode is getting better and better Thank you, myst, but it actually was the moment right after Phlox tells Trip that he'll be put into a comatose state. Trip's in profile (T'Pol in background) and he lifts his chin and looks up at the ceiling with the most telling expression on his face. That's the moment I knew he was thinking "a coma?!". Very powerful expression. Love the caps and the episode. It was extremely intriguing, just like a T-Zone. OK, plumtuckered, hope I got it this time. Oh thank you, myst! I feel pretty silly for putting you through all that for a pic but that's the one that got me! :-) Thanks! No problem, plumtuckered! i could't really understand the few senteces, t'pol speaks to phlox, before he says.. "Commander Tucker" some thing about Vulcans would't go throug great lenghs to find solitude ???? Can someone write it down for me???? úps... i ment "through", "something" and "lengths" :)))) Nice episode. I liked it alot. Phlox was hilarious. It was really funny when he and imaginary T'Pol were trying to active the warp core. He gave her instructions and she gestured that she couldn't do it. Great twist at the end. bltp_germany, here is the exchange between Phlox and T'Pol as they dine together in the middle of the episode: T’Pol: It is ironic, however, that I should be your sole companion. Unlike your people, most Vulcans will go to great lengths to find solitude. At times it has been trying for me to coexist with 80 humans. Especially the more irrational ones. Phlox: Such as Commander Tucker. T’Pol: I found the last two days to be a welcome respite. of course everything t'pol said during this episode is what the doc attributes to t'pol. The doc doesn't know the extent of t'pol and tucker's relationship. From what I can see from last week's episode, t'pol seeks out tucker and the respite from tucker wouldn't be welcome. Won't the doc be surprised to learn the truth!?! Thx myst... very kind :)) myst, can u might tell me the injuries Hayes and reed had after their little fight.... the last translation, i promise :)) for the eps shown yet :)) ^^ Injuries suffered were a separated rib (Reed) and a bruised kidney (Hayes). ^Thanks, stub! I like the camel toe in the third picture from the bottom. Thanks guys... On the injuries, you forgot the detached retina. Ouch! I found this very telling. If you watch the very end of the episode as Phlox and his Imaginary Vulcan Friend are walking done the hallway with Trip, Trip exits, but you can seen T'Pol's eyes following him. And it was not just a momentary glance either. She watched for a while. Hee! Phlox is a T/T'P 'shipper! I have an important quastion... Was Enterprise 3x17 shown yet ??? I'm downloading it right now ???!!!??? How is that possible ???? It should be comming in about a few hous?????? i've already seen a few minutes.... It's the HATCHERY !!! It's complete in 1 hour... bttp_germany, the new episodes air in Canada the day before they air in the US. The US will see Hatchery tonight.
