A whole mess of folks have made commentsGood stand alone episode. But I really want to see this Trip/T'Pol storyline get a move on, little doggie! Maybe next week will be the week when things start to go to the next level. This show teases more than a Britney Spears concert! I loved the North Star pictures. Great caps as usual! I thought the harmonica bit was pretty amusing given that it was David A. Goodman who wrote Precious Cargo, the ep in which Trip first played it. Goodman must have read or heard that Connor thought it was too hayseed so he found an amusing way for both Connor and Trip to kiss it goodbye! Next week looks great! Hot DAMN. Lip contact. I was too busy laughing at Trip trying to get the horse moving to notice T'Pol's expressions. They both look so confused! Thanks, myst, for capturing that for me! And I'm so pissed at the UPN promo. I was none the wiser for a kiss. All spoilers have managed to avoid leaking that and then THIS. Damn them! Ignorance is bliss, people! That would have been a fantastic surprise and now I'm going to be all impatient for next week. Grrrrrrrrr... LOL..Trip trying to get that horse moving was funny! Loved Malcolm's version of Speed and 'Shoot the hostage'. I would say that is the adult Trip clone both in the casket, and in the liplock scene.. there's no red piping on his uniform. Still interesting.. perhaps the adult SimTrip asked for a kiss goodbye? Wondeful caps! I just knew that Trip was going to know how to ride that horse and I burst out laughing when it didn't budge! I loved it when they locked eyes on the ship as they were talking. (They can't keep their eyes off of each other, can they??? :) Malcolm's 'surprise shot' is now a classic! And the kiss in Similitude's preview was just a shock to see! The Paramount Execs are such a tease! (I know it is SimTrip but it is still close enough!!!) I really, really enjoyed North Star -- the cinematography was excellent, the story was actually plausible (and a great nod to hokier classic Trek eps), Archer was likable (rare this season, and I miss it), and Trip was HOT! I love the clothes, I love the grit, I love (that the) harmonica (is gone now), I love horse-back clutching... and I love the fact that OMT stands so far into T'Pol's personal space that she has to conform her posture to his body -- seriously, go look! SPOILER

I always review your wonderful caps, but have never commented before, but this deserves more!! North Star was great (best Bakula I've seen) and the horse scene delightful, but the previews for Similitude....the producers do like to tease soo. I have to say, it's defintely simTrip (no piping or insignia on the uniform), and do my eyes deceive me, is that Trip standing behind Archer as he looks down into Engineering? I really enjoyed North Star, I thougth the actor playing the sheriff did a wonderful job. Boy, Trip and T'Pol look beautiful in their western garb. I love the easy manner in which they communicate with each other and work together. As for the screencaps for Similitude, I also think that she is kissing sim-Trip, but still, nice kiss. About the preview for next week, well now I'm really pissed for 2 reasons: (1) the channel that shows it here will not be having a episode next Wednesday so I have to wait until Sunday on 'Space' and (2) I would have wanted to be surprised by the kiss, as stub says I too find that they leak too much in the previews sometimes! Damn!!!!!!!! I watched it and I fastforwarded to the end of the tape
and Damn that spoiler made me bounce around now I'm excited. The horse scene should go down in classic Trek history. It was the biggest hoot. Can't wait to see what happens next week! space I know we all want Trip and T'Pol to get together, but don't you think that maybe they should drag it out longer? We don't really want them to get together as much as we want to want them to get together, right? Teasers and hints leave more fanfics to write and possibilities to dream about. Once they're actually together, you loose a lot of the magic of that. I think they should drag it out at least another season. Do you agree? I've added some spoiler space to a couple of the posts. I probably haven't been very consistent because I've just been scanning the comments, trying not to read anything which looked like a spoiler. For comments where I did create spoiler space, I kind of did it out of the corner of my eye, trying not to look directly at what was written! :D I don't read spoilers, so have tried to avoid what was written about future eps, even the upcoming ep! Hey! I loved this show and am looking forward to next week's. As for the kiss between t'pol and trip, I would think that if it is the sim-trip and he is supposed to have the real trip's memory's then maybe he told t'pol how trip really feels about her which leads to the kiss, which means that t'pol would know more about trip than he's been willing to reveal. remember his last three relationships have been a bust. Then again the sim-trip wouldn't have anything to loose by telling her and is rewarded with a kiss! t'pol would likely keep that to herself so as not to pressure trip and allow things to progress slowly. Confused!!! Is there an actual spoiler saying what is said in TTerr's
post about the kiss or is this a theory? No worries, just
confused. Great work Myst! The costumes in this episiode were very realistic, more typical of the time period. Nothing really matches, people wore what they had. The hats were a hoot! Trip looks lost in his! I think the next episode will be heartbreaking, especially if Archer develops a friendship with the boy version of Trip.
