A whole mess of folks have made commentsohhhh! first reviewer braggin' rights! I absolutely loved this epidose! t'pol's magenta pj's, foot massages, garden snakes, and murderous captains... sorry for the spoilers those who haven't seen the episode... great pix as always, just waitin for the dialogue. This show had some of the strongest shippage i've seen EVER! must say it again, love this episode, and must watch again soon in case i missed anything... later! Wow. And again, wow. Was blown away by the T/T shippiness in Similitude. Damn. How am I going to be able to wait for ep 15? I'll just put this out there now: FRAME BY FRAME KISSING CAPS, PLEASE!! Excellent shippage episode! And dare I say it...great Archer, too! *rinses mouth out with soap* Squeeeeeeeeeeeee! I LOVE this episode! A Shipper's dream! I usually don't go for romance but I am swept away by Tucker and T'Pol! So much chemistry! So much gentle passion! The Caps are just wonderful! I am still swooning! Can't wait to watch their love grow and become stronger! :) How did you decide what were keepers and what weren't? There were so many moments. The best episode ever. Thanks for the captures. Oh, my.... this was far better then previews hinted & teased: these were real feelings! "I don't know if these feelings are mine... or his." I wonder what T'Pol is thinking (hint to stub) looking across the torpedo bay -- and what Trip is "remembering" so somberly... the whole life of a dear friend he'll never meet, but *IS*? The lips he never felt touch his? Oooooooooh, my... If Connor Trinneer doesn't get an Emmy for his work based on this episode alone, there is no justice! PS: I LOVED MALCOLM in this episode! What a friend, to reach out to Sim without missing a beat, and treat him both as his time-tested friend and a totally new person simultaneously. And Sim acknowledgeing that in the shuttlebay -- the joke about not wanting to spend his last hours stuck in a pod with Mal... that was an amazing "memory" to latch onto, don't you think? And Bakula: great acting performance (third in a row), but I still despise the new, improved missionArcher. (Sorry.) PPS: "That was two days ago..." is my new favorite Trinneer line... now superceding the stupendous, "How hard can it be?" PPPS: emily, if you're out there -- Can you do for this ep what you did for "ShuttlePod One" for Trip-Malcolm next door, please, please, please, please? It would be WONDERFUL to watch the key Tn(S) scenes millions of times while I'm supposed to be working. :) Did you all like high school SimTrip? I thought Shane Sweet was great! And HOT! nikitee...hint to stub for what? *blink* What'd I miss? I loved the NP scene in the beginning. Trip is SO much more relaxed, babbling on about his engines. The suggestive way he said he was up for a challenge as his head is in T'Pol's lap, her breasts damn near in his face, her hands damn near down his pants... I have to swoon. I'll be back. stub: story, story, story, story, O Mistress of the Moment! You are the best at the "debriefing" scenes that draw TnT closer together. Could you, would you, write the first TnT conversation after this ep? (okay, I begged...) Gah. That's a lot of pressure, nikitee. I'm not sure I can hold a candle to Manny Coto's TnT. That was some pretty good stuff. (Thanks for the compliment, btw...debriefing scenes, huh? Never really thought of it that way.) I have to go rewatch this a few times. Lots of good stuff in here. I haven't seen it but it looks so good! Stupid me, I forgot that it was going to be on this week and when I was running to get to my class on time I didn't hit the timer on button, I really need to get a new tv that records without me having to remember to hit that stupid button! I can't wait till Saturday, my roommate is going to get so sick of me rewatching, over and over. Oh well :0) SWOOOOOOOON!!! I cannot wait for the rebroadcast on Saturday! Jolene and Connor are so the best! This has become my favorite Trek to date. Does anyone think we have an amalgamated Trip on our hands now? OK, usually I try to avoid spoilers but who could resist? One burning question: was Trip looking up T'Pol's pyjama top at the beginning? I thought he was supposed to be a gentleman! I loved this whole episode it had me crying at the end especially when
he kissed T'pol... Yeah,,, my thoughts went along the way of ShouldKnowBetter's... seriously, all he had to do was look up and Hello! :) I just loved this episode!! My hubby commented that this ep should give me plenty of ideas for my site :) (sigh) Poor Sim. Thankyou for the beautiful caps. I am so proud of Connor, and I haven't even sseen it yet! Just going by your enthusiastic posts. :::THUD::: on these caps!!! Shoulda known you all would agree that this was, hands down, the best Enterprise episode EVA! and one of the top Trek episodes. FEH!! on the reviewer at TrekToday, an Archer/T'Pol fan (wait, my surprised face is around here somewhere). Massive kudos to Connor (still in awe!) and Jolene. Can't wait to get back home and watch it again. ::::Major THUD Alert:::: Cannot WAIT!!!! Great caps! Connor, you ROCK... Wonderful caps for a wonderful episode. Loved it all, especially when Sim Trip comes to T'Pol's quarters and tells her how she's all he thinks about. I just about melted into a pile of goo after that little exchange. And T'Pol so loves Trip, she probably just never imagined that he loved her as well. I hope that Trip has some of Sim's memories. 1) because that would make
him remember the kiss and 2) because it would in a way make Sim live
on. OH MY LORD! That was like the absolute best. I agree, it was so much more than I ever expected. Oh be still my heart! PM This episode was awesome. Loved the NP scene and when sim trip revealed his feelings. Soo sweet:) Very much looking forward to february for episode 15!!!!!!!!! I wont get to see this episode for about another 4 months yet but I almost feel Ive seen it after reading so many comments and reviews on it. These pictures are wonderful and I felt really sad for Sim Trip, the photo of him at the end is heartbreaking. It would have been really nice if Jon had just said once how much Trip means to him rather than having to read between the lines. I really hope that the consequences of this episode are carried through into future ones and not completly ignored as in Cogenitor. GOD HOW WILL I SURVIVE THE WAIT TO SEE THIS EP.!! Who needs captions? These pics say it all - thanks so much for posting them. Great ep - good writing, really good acting, actual lessons to learn and things to think about. Just good Trek. Next week's bound to be a letdown. You've captured the best shots of this episode. Kudos to Trineer, Bakula, and Jolene! It was a heart breaker! Oh, another thought, no one mentioned T'Pol almost losing control of her voice when she told Sim he wasn't making her uncomfortable by his admission of love. Trip was perfect, just the right amount of innocence in declaring he loved her and could only think of her. That last scene of Trip, standing at the eulogy for Sim with dark circles under his eyes and looking like a lost soul, was heart wrenching. Great work Myst! commenting on what the watcher stander said the second time, at the ulogy he looked sort of like he had sim trips memories and (my thoughts) and that maybe he had gained some memories and was in shock of seeing himself, not being there, that or the shock of seeing a replica of himself and feeling sorrow over what he did... who knows who says you have to wait four months? check out EDIT and download the episode! I so thought that that scene in the preview was from that! I can't believe they did that! (In a good way!) I loved how they had the romance in there, but it was still overshadowed by the desperation and fear both Trip and T'Pol were experiencing. That was some of the best romance they've ever done. Romance overshadowed by real life. That was the best! This is the best ep enterprise has ever done (even if you take out all the T/T)! Everyone go to www.trekweb.com! what that really means, but when the Captain told T'Pol that Trip was in a
coma and might not survive I couldn't picturing her saying to herself dam,
and the last time I saw his face I was almost sitting on it. Thanks for these great screencaps! I have a feeling when I get my VCD of this episode in a few days time, it's going to be a "box of tissues" job! I just have to say this was my fav Star Trek ep ever. I love Trip/T'pol
and have since the 1st ep. Great caps, myst! Three days later and I'm still questioning myself on my cold reaction to Sim. I guess thats the mark of a great episode when it can make you think! Thanks again! I'm in a TnT zone right now.It's hard for me to think of any thing else. Trip and T'pol are like my weekly drug. If I can't have any I'm a miserable individual. Well, thank god for Manny Coto because I had one hell of a fix from similtude. This episode was perfect. Connor trineer out did himself once again. His portrayal as Sim was flawless and Jolene was absolutely great, she gave just enough to make the scene where sim/trip declares his feelings for her heart wrenching. I swear I stopped breathing during that scene .There was not much I could do to hold myself together. I absolutely loved it, loved it all. I was just watching my recording of it again, and I noticed the expression on Trip's face. I think he going to need more therupy from T'Pol to get over this. A little Vulcan TLC can go a long way. I Think Trip will be too tramatized from the operation to remember from Sim. This would put T'Pol in a postion to control how their relationship progresses. I think she would take it slow not to put any pressure on Trip. She might test the water from time to time. If you know what I mean. I think I never had a overflow of emotions since Similitude. I even
didn't see the episode as in my country if will be on air next year. But
to read the report and to see the picture was good enough to look around
for my tissues...(seufz). Oh, I forget..Thanks for this picture gallery and all the others before. It's great that you take this time every week. I totally love Season 3. Trip/T'Pol rules! I wonder... does anyone notice Captain Archer pretty much losing it? I call him Captain Ahab now... Similitude was great, powerfull and high emotional. I don't know about you guys, but T'Pol looked pretty watery eye'd when Sim told her how he felt... me thinks this Vulcan has some emotions she isn't suppressing! I really think Similitude is a near perfect episode, and looking at the caps again just re-enforces my opinion. The Trip/Sim-T'Pol scenes are both sexy and romantic and completely true to the characters. The way he looks at T'Pol and reacts to her in the NP scene says it all: she's his friend, he respects her, he loves her, and he wants her. I looooooved this episode. Was it me or did Trip look up T'pol's top when she leaned over him. He was just making the comment about a challenge. If it wasn't my imagination then could it have been a part of the script or an accident? I think we need more episodes like these. wow what a great episode I'm in Germany so I just saw this episode last night. (1 Feb 04)The
Writers did again!!! Youth flies passed, love , mortality, death, service
to others – for this creature – in two weeks. Our lives compressed. I most
sincerely believe that one thing all mortals (outside of not wanting to
die) want is a dying thought they’ll be remembered – at least for the
following generation. T'Pol promised it to him. The words she said were
wonderful and I was urging her "kiss him". When she did I was near
blubbering (fyi I'm a 50+ male). Does the SubCommander have a "heart" or
was it "the logical thing to do"? How much "right do we have to create
life"? I know it's a story, and I won't pretend to know the answer, but
this episode showed maybe at times there are valid reasons (Sim's being
saved the entire crew not only from the immediate situation, but restored
Trip to the duty for future problems). I've been watch "Treks" for 40
years and they continue to amaze me with the plausible answers they
provide to moral problems. great caps thanks. What a great episode!! I saw it last week in the UK!! Well i think it was last week cos i taped it and watched over again!!! I loved the caps when i saw them i couldn't wait for the episode!! This ep is one of my favourites by far!!!! Similitude will be showing again this Wednesday and I wouldn't miss it for the world! I taped it originally and have watched it at least 25 times. It is just as good the last time as the first! Connor Trinneer is an excellent actor. Everyone I have talked to thinks he should have an Emmy for his performance! The whole cast was great and that made the Episode the best of all time! Maybe some good things will come their way! Just watch the episode, a good one. If u notice T'pol was breathing rapidly when she heard the news that trip was in a coma from the captain...does show she was worried from my point of view... hello a ym girl out netherlands hello a ym this girl out netherlands hello y m this girl out netherlands Thats just great.
