This little story picks up just as Gramma & Poppy Tucker get home from their trip to Enterprise. They are no sooner getting into the door, when a beep sounds letting them know they have mail.....Enjoy

Addendum

Charles Tucker Jr. opened the door to their Georgia home. Both he and his wife were tired and wanted nothing more than to slip into their jammies and go to bed. A persistent beeping noise came from the area of the desk comm. Catherine dropped her oversized purse on the couch and went over to see what the commotion was all about.

She hit the button and the screen came alive with information. "You have a Message", it read and she looked further to see that it was a security one level. This told her all she needed to know. "Charles.....get over here quick." she called rather excitedly. Her husband set down the luggage he was about to take up the stairs, and came over to her side.

She hit the button marked "See Message" and the screen came alive with the recorded message from her son Charles James Tucker the third.

"Hey mom...Pop.." Trip started looking a bit exhausted, but still very happy. "We got our orders and Enterprise is heading for the gamma quadrant. Supposed to be a peaceful mission....Lets hope so.... Star fleet still feels we three are safer aboard the ship, so I guess this is where we'll stay for a while. But don't worry mom.....Doctor Phlox has set up a special little bunker in sickbay for Lizzie.....First sign of trouble and in she goes..." Trip relaxed back and the screen widened now on the sleeping baby in his arms.

"Boy has she had a busy day to day....and T’Pol made me make a list of updates....so I wouldn't forget...so here goes." He added with a smirk.

"First she has gained another 1/2 pound. She's done it in only a third of the time Phlox gave her too....I think she'll have to go to vegetables soon or we'll have a little chubbet on our hands....." Trip hesitated a moment almost sensing his mother's disapproving look.

"Just kidding Mom....She's perfect, I know..." Catherine's look relaxed.

"Second, T’Pol finally got Lizzie to stop giving her open mouth kisses in public. Although I'll tell ya, that was about as much fun watching her get those wet ones in public, than I have ever had in my life. I still get winded just laughing at the memories. Especially when Lizzie up and did it to Soval....That's one for the memory book....." Trip allowed himself some time to laugh.

"Next...T’Pol informs me Lizzie can now distinguish between three new colors.....Although all three colors were shades of pink, so I don't know what T’Pol was sensing....all I saw was pink." Again the laughter was coming and the baby stirred a bit in his arms...sucking and dreaming all the while.

"We did see what looks like the beginnings of a tooth, which explains the water works these last two days....Boy, can this kid drool....It was cute at first, but after the third drenched uniform....well it's still cute, but not as much so...." Catherine smiled relating the memory of her son, now dad getting many of her blouses stained and wet.

"We had our first night out, T’Pol and me.....We went to movie night.....Got Hoshi and Malcolm to baby sit......Didn't last long though....Lizzie must have been mad we didn't take her and she kicked a royal hissy. After about 20 minutes of trying to ignore it, we ended up just staying in....Were we kids ever this much of a wet blanket?" It was Charles Jr. who remember that one, the many times trying to steal a private moment with his wife, only to have one of three children come barging in.

"I'm certainly gaining a new appreciation for you guys....." Trip looked down at Lizzie who was now awake, staring silently up at him.

"Darn she's awake....." Trip started and looked down to speak to the little girl. "All right you little munchkin, you gotta promise not to tell your mommy bout this one...." The little girl was still too sleepy to respond with more than a few sucking movements.

"I decided that, after we get done this next mission, I'm gonna pop the question to T’Pol.....According to our agenda, we should be getting back near Vulcan in about 6 months and I thought we could arrange some kinda ceremony. T’Pol has a very nice house there with a guest room. Our lay over is for 3 weeks, which should give us plenty of time to plan a wedding and a brief honeymoon, that is if you guys wouldn't mind baby sitting....." Trip crinkled his nose, and gave his best pleading face, knowing his parents weren't happy with space travel.

"Well we can talk more about the details after she says yes...." Trip looked back to Lizzie who had gone back to sleep.

"If you're wondering where T’Pol is....she's got 2nd shift tonight, so I get the evening shift with our resident little charmer..... She has now met about half the crew....Not because T’Pol wanted it that way, but now that Lizzie stays in sickbay with Phlox, while we work....many of the crew are developing headaches....neck strain and the assorted achy joints.....Phlox says it's a record number, but feels the only person it isn't contagious for is Elizabeth." Trip yawned....

"But seriously.....Lizzie seems to be really comfortable with everyone and I can see that in her more and more every day. I'm kinda glad she's here, not that having you guys around wouldn't make it even better, but at least nobody'll judge her here.....I think I'm dread'n that the most...." Trip grew serious and leaned down to kiss the sleeping child's fingers, wrapped so tightly around his pinky.

He looked back at the screen...I think I've covered all T’Pol's data, ....OOPs nope I didn't.....she grew a half an inch....God if I forgot that, both she and mom would kill me." The engineer giggled knowing his father would be too.

"Sending ya some pictures along with this to go in that baby book I know mom started on her trip back from Jupiter station." Charles Jr. shot his wife a whimsical stare, in that his son knew his mother like a book....a baby book, the pictures and notes for which she had tucked in her overnight case.

"The last one's especially for you mom.....I got in a heapa trouble getting it,...... I'll probably be in the dog house for a Vulcan year...it's longer than an Earth one you know.....But nothing's too good for my mom....." Trip grinned, his eyes were bright and matched the lightness in his heart.

"Well...gotta go before T’Pol sees this message....I don't know which would throw her more, the intended proposal, or the last picture.....she still doesn't know I'm sending it.... You guys take care and I'll send ya another update next week.....Til then...Love ya Mom.....Love ya Pop......Tell James and his family I send my best......" he held up Elizabeth, still sleeping and waved her little fist clinging to his finger.... "Bye"

The screen changed: The sign now said....."Get Photos"

Catherine clicked the button and watched as the photo show commenced.

This is her deciding what bottle she wants... Notice the colors...T’Pol is trying to increase Lizzie's knowledge of them by exposing her to them more. There are times like these when she glows in the dark.......

And of coarse, our favorite time....when that curious little mind sleeps. This was after a rather long game of grab the fur with Kelmouth.

This is how she managed that extra 1/2 pound.

Her first really good talking too, after the movie night episode. Boy doesn't Lizzie look like she's feeling really guilty for spoiling her mom & dad's night out.

And last but not least...

This as you can tell, was a hard one to get. Do you know how difficult it is to sneak up on a Vulcan...With those sensitive ears and all.....Malcolm had to hide in the corridor for almost 20 minutes until I got her in range...... I'm gonna be paying for this one for a while.. What ever you do..... Don't mention that you have it....okay.

Catherine and Charles Tucker broke into a hardy laugh...Not only were they surprise by the last picture, they were pleased to see that even in trouble their son still thought of his folks first. Catherine printed all the pictures for the baby book. The last one she took over to the mantle and pulled down an empty frame.

"What's ya doing with that one?" her husband asked.

"I'm framing it.." Catherine returned.

"You think that's wise? I mean somebody's bound to mention it to her."

"Well....until I get a wedding photo...this one will have ta do." She pulled down one of the last frames with heart shaped inlays. She had bought them many years ago, one for each child and their spouse. The blue one she reserved for Trip and the woman who would one day steal his heart. She laid the photo in and returned it between the one of James & Carol, and the empty one. Catherine Tucker stepped back into her husbands arms and they both just stared at the new addition. "Looks nice Poppa... Don't ya think...?"

"Sure does mother......sure does......" They both headed upstairs for a long nights rest. ............The End...........T

Love the photo gallery. Isn't it neat how a few color changes can completely change the look of a picture? The heart-shaped photo frame is SO fluffy! Hooray for fluff! The kid's cute too.

I've enjoyed this series so much. It's been a joy to come to when I'm missing Enterprise and trying desperately to forget the future the writers left us with in the finale. I like this version ssoooooo much better. I can't tell you how thrilled I am that you're continuing the adventures of Trip, T'Pol and little Lizzie on the good ship Enterprise. Thanks!

Glad you like it.....I have actually had the addendum written for weeks, but had to wait til the end of the Little Lizzie series to post it. The pictures were easy to do using a new software I down loaded from Adobe reader paintbrush and A double big thanks to Bucky and Myst for helping me coordinate the pictures and their placement into the story. They did a wonderful job and I am very grateful for their help. The "Honeymoon on Vulcan" story is looking right now to be a 4 parter, but you know me I can get long winded. It's a cute story and I think you all will like it as much as you did the Little Lizzie one. Thanks for you feedback....So til Tues........T
