Seven Year Itch, by QuillsSeven Year Itch By Quills NC-17 - English – Romance ***This story takes place approximately one year after the first episode. I figure the characters need some fleshing out and developing before this kind of stuff happens so this is my take based on what I've seen so far. You tell me if everyone is behaving in character. Also..there is a small amount of dialogue from TOS episode "Amok Time" that has been reworded and incorporated into part of this story as a nod to the original Pon Far story.**** The Captain observed his science officer carefully trying not to let her observe that she was being observed. Something was...off about T'Pol. She seemed almost agitated and she had been short with several of the crew...shorter than normal. The crew had all been under a great deal of pressure these last few days. If she were human he wouldn't think twice about it. However..she wasn't human..she was Vulcan..and that's what made her behavior all the more concerning. He had asked her if there was anything on her mind and she was insistent that everything was "within norms". He would have to speak to the Doctor as soon as he had time. Right now..her behavior was not interfering with her performance and Enterprise had a priority one emergency they were responding to. "Hoshi, has the Bonaventure returned to the hanger yet?" asked the Captain as he checked the coordinates for the ship's new heading. "Yes, sir." the communications officer responded "shuttle bay reports Commander Tucker and the landing party just finished docking." "Have Commander Tucker report up here as soon as he's off the Bonaventure." ordered Archer. "Aye, sir" Hoshi responded with a smile. It was a pleasure to have her under his command. Their first year out she had proven herself on a number of first "Captain" a voice squawked from the speaker on the captain's chair. Archer reached over and flipped the switch opening the channel. "Yes Doctor?" he answered his Chief Medical Officer. "Has Commander Tucker returned from the surface?", asked the medical officer with what almost seemed like enthusiasm. The Doctor was a good man..a good physician..he viewed every illness..every disease..as a personal challenge for him to conquer. "Yes Doctor" the Captain responded " They just arrived with the last excavation of the kovolite." "Good...we need to get under way Captain." said Doctor as he reminded the Captain of the importance of their mission "were on a tight schedule to get the kovolite to the Medusan home world. Last report said the 'Phase' plague is now pandemic." "I'm aware of that Doctor" replied Archer showing he really did not care to be reminded "We'll be leaving orbit in a few minutes. Have all the raw kovolite synthesized by the time we reach the Medusan home world." "Yes, Captain." replied the doctor. The Captain closed the com. Just then, Commander Tucker entered the bridge looking a bit haggard and covered with dirt. "Trip..good..your back" said the Captain with a smile " We can leave orbit now." "Cap'n we have a bit of a problem." said the disheveled engineer. The Captain's face went stern. Things were going too well. "What is it Trip?" he asked. "Well..." the engineer paused for a moment " it's not exactly a problem..not yet. It's just that the last batch uh kovolite is contaminated with particulates of Bendrine. It's gonna make it damn near useless for the Doc to synthesize any medicine from it." "Damn" muttered the Captain softly Archer opened the com channel to sickbay "Doctor..Commander Tucker has just informed me that our last extraction of kovolite is contaminated. Do you have enough to synthesize an antidote for the entire population? "I believe so Captain" responded the Doctor " But it will be cutting it close. We should have some reserve kovolite in case any there are any flare ups. They could cause a spread all over again." "Cap'n I thought uh that and I have a suggestion." said Tucker "I'm listening." "Why doesn't Enterprise leave orbit for the Medusan's home world." he started " You could leave the Bonaventure here and a landing party could extract some more kovolite and have it ready on Enterprise's return trip." The Captain paused a minute. "Doctor...would that meet your safety window for delivering the medicine?" asked the Captain. "Yes Captain..we could deliver the medicine and monitor the Medusan population's condition. If more kovolite Tucker smiled wearily. His fatigue was showing and the Captain could see it. "Are you sure your up to a return trip?" he asked the engineer "Yeah..Yeah..I'm good..but the away team is beat ta hell, sir" responded the Engineer "Captain" a voice interjected from across the bridge..it was T’Pol " I have been monitoring the kovolite retrieval quotas of the landing party. A small landing party...perhaps two people..could retrieve the remaining amount needed." "Anyone you have in mind?" asked the Captain. "Mr. Tucker and I are the most logical individuals to perform the task." she answered "Well...I'm not going to fight logic." said the Captain " Report to the shuttle bay. As soon as you've left we'll be warping out of orbit." "Yes, sir" T'Pol responded "Cap'n" said Tucker as he nodded As the two officers approached the lift the Captain called out. "All goes well..we'll be back for you in 72 hours...good luck" "You too Captain" replied Tucker. ****************************** Commander Tucker sat down in front of the central light that illuminated the camp. He was tired...sore and "I am so beat it's not funny" said Tucker T'Pol looked at him quizzically. "I do not see how being beaten under any circumstances would be considered humorous." she observed. "It's just a saying...never mind." he sighed "How is the quota lookin?" he asked. She picked up her scanner and pulled up the necessary data. "We have acquired 9.473% more than was required." she responded. "9.473...can't you just round that up?" he asked. "Yes." she responded deadpan. "Oh man..I cannot wait for this mission to be over." he said "Am I to infer that my presence has something to do with your desire for a speedy return of Enterprise?" she asked with what seemed a hint of annoyance. "Ah no..I just love your sparklin personality..especially since your even cheerier than normal." he responded. "I do not know what you are referring to Commander." she said with clear annoyance. "The hell you don't" he shot back" half the crew is probably wonderin what the bug up your ass is." "I see no reason to continue this conversation. Especially when you are showing your species." "Just what the hell does that mean?" he said angrily "I believe I made myself quite clear...perhaps you require simpler language." she said coldly "In the year I have served on Enterprise I have tolerated humans and their ways...their customs..their..emotions." Trip Tucker could not believe what he was hearing. T’Pol had not been thrilled when the Captain asked her to stay on Enterprise. The crew wasn't to thrilled either...but over the past year she really seemed to bond with the crew. She almost seemed sometimes to be as enthusiastic as the humans were. But even when she wasn't 'part' of the crew she never said what just passed from her lips. Tucker knew he had probably provoked her. He was irritated and tired...he had an excuse..a poor one..but one none the less. What was hers?? She was a Vulcan...suppressed emotions...complete control. "My kind...oh I see..the humans aren't good enough." he yelled at her "I thought you got off your superiority complex a long time ago. Guess we lowly humans are crampin your cold Vulcan style..or maybe you just need to get laid!" She shot him a look that would have burned through nuetronium. "This conversation is over." she said voicing a Vulcan curse as she turned to leave. Trip Tucker came around in front of her blocking her way. She looked at him hard for a moment. "Get..out...of my way." she said holding back seething anger. "Or what.." he started..he did not get to finish. The Vulcan grabbed the Human by his jump suit pulling him out of her way. Trip Tucker tried to rest control "T'Pol.." before he could finish the Vulcan's lips were on his. They pressed against his lips hard and passionately. Trip Tucker sat up looking at the very emotional Vulcan science officer in front of him. "T’Pol" he said softly...that kiss had quelled his anger "talk to me." The Vulcan closed her eyes wincing in pain and then stood up walking to the edge of the camp. Trip Tucker's gaze followed her. He stood and walked to her and after a moments contemplation..rested his hand on her shoulder. She turned toward him with a mixture of pain and shame. "I..I am sorry." she said "I did not mean to harm you. I should not have come on this mission." "I don't understand." he said confused. "First you drag me 'round like rag doll....then..well..you kiss me "I..It is a complicated issue." she said half hoping the answer would satisfy him. She knew it would not. "Come on Sub Commander" he said" You owe me some answers." She looked at him for a moment with almost no vestige of Vulcan discipline. Just as quickly she replaced it with "It has to do with biology." she said. "Biology?" he said still not understanding. "what kind of Biology?" "Vulcan Biology." she stated. Her mask of control showing it's cracks. "You mean the Biology of Vulcans?" he said inquisitively She merely nodded her head in answer. "Well..um..that is...I" he tried to find the questions but they were not coming. "My people are the most disciplined race in the galaxy." she said "Logic is the defining Trip Tucker looked at T’Pol as she began what he knew was a confession. "Have you ever wondered how Vulcan's mate." she asked "Well..I would guess it's done..efficiently." he said half asking. "No..it is neither efficient nor logical." she told him as she looked away. "Every seven years..a Vulcan feels the call. It is..an overwhelming Trip looked at her quizzically. She responded to his lack of understanding "Vulcan's are bonded at a very young age to a mate. When the time of Pon Far arrives..the time of mating...we must seek "But you said you weren't bonded." said Trip "That is..not entirely correct." she corrected "I was bonded..but my..mate..died in a shuttle accident 2 earth years ago. I never re bonded." "So..you got no one to complete the bond with." he said "is that right." She shook her head wearily. "When a Vulcan cannot reach home..they must find a suitable replacement...or die" 'Die?!" he responded in shock "For Vulcan's...it is not merely a matter of mating..but a matter of life and death." she explained "Our bodies place great stressors on us. It is the drive from old...before we purged our emotions. Vulcan emotions were...are..much stronger and more volatile than human emotions. We have kept them in check for so long..when the time to release them comes and we cannot...our bodies and minds react violently with emotional outbursts and pain..and inevitably... death." "How long?" he asked "how long do you have." "It is difficult to say." she tried explain " Hours..perhaps days. When we are at this point our thoughts are unfocused." "You said 'find a suitable' replacement. What did you mean?" he asked almost knowing. "When I first came aboard Enterprise..I did not have a high regard for humans." she said" I considered them undisciplined and prone to outbursts of emotional behavior. You in particular were what I considered a typical example of humans. However.." He knew there was but in there. The look on her face was telling...even for a Vulcan. "I have grown to appreciate humans. Having worked with them and seen how they deal with volatile and dangerous situations I have reevaluated my opinion of them...and of you." she said looking him in the eyes. "Commander Tucker..."she said pausing "Trip'...you are a fine officer and a first rate engineer...and as much as my Kolinar discipline will allow me to..I find you to be an attractive specimen of your species." "Thanks..I think." he said "It is meant as a compliment." she said "I am not an earth woman...but it would be a mistake to believe that I do not have feelings. I have developed..feelings for you." "You mean...your...in love with me?" "Love is a term you humans use" she stated" and very loosely with broad defining aspects..but for the sake of clarity between us..yes I am in love with you." "T'Pol...I ...I don't know what to say to you." "I mean I never even considered...I mean...your a beautiful woman..but...I mean I never thought you would be interested in that way...emotionally I mean." "I understand if you do not reciprocate my feelings." she said "I must..apologise...for my actions. I have no right to put you in such an uncomfortable position but the drive is to strong. My mind chose you and my body compelled me..even as it does now...to seek you out." "Uncomfortable?!" he said raising his voice "T'Pol...if I refuse you...then...I'm condemning you to death!" "That is correct." she stated flatly. "Huh..Ya know..men on earth used to swear to girls they wanted to have sex with that if they didn't sleep with them they would die." he explained "I just never thought I would meet someone it was actually true for." He stood there for a moment of somber reflection and then spoke. "Yes." he said "Yes?" she responded "Yes..I'll mate with you." he said to her. "Are you certain this is something you want?" she asked" It would require our minds to 'meld'. We would share our deepest thoughts as we joined both physically and mentally." "T’Pol...I'm not certain of much right now" he said" but one thing I do know is that your gonna die unless we ..mate. You and I may argue a lot and sometimes we don't see eye to eye..but I consider you a friend..and I'd be lying if I said I didn't look at you as more than that...but right now..working out whether I'm attracted to you is not important. Saving your life is!" With that he grabbed the Vulcan drawing her close to him...they looked into each others eyes for a moment..then resumed their earlier embrace kissing each other passionately as they clawed at each others uniform. Any vestiges of control T’Pol had melted away and she released her emotions. Trip Tucker trailed his lips up her neck planting kisses along the way, stopping at the rim of her ear. He remembered the reaction she gave when he had touched her ear in the decontamination chamber on their first mission. . Giving it very 'special' attention. This illicit a deep moan from T'Pol, who dug her nails into Trips back. He winced at the pain, but relished the pleasure he was giving her. He slowly began to peel away her gray suit revealing her slip. He began tracing his fingers over her breasts..coming close, but avoiding her already erect nipples. T'Pol reached up and brushed her lips against Trip's. She parted her lips allowing her mate to explore deeply with his tongue. Trip moved his lips across T’Pol’s face, placing gentle kisses as he brushed his lips across her pointed brow and made his way to the hollow of her neck. She let out a deep moan. She let her passion overwhelm her and she pulled Trip closer biting at his neck as she removed his shirt. Trip Tucker was experiencing a heady rush, his senses overwhelmed by her hot breath. He grabbed her breasts and squeezed them firmly, eliciting another deep moan from her lips. She was losing herself in his manliness. Trip sought her mouth, again, thrusting his tongue against hers as he slipped his fingers inside her warm, moist interior. He stroked the sensitive edges, probing deeply, feeling her gasps in his mouth. He had never imagined the Vulcan science officer was capable of such raw passion. He could not believe how overpowering the sensations of her body were as they intertwined. The pace began to quicken as they hurried to remove their remaining clothing. Restrained passion would wait no longer. Trip Tucker never wanted anyone this badly in his whole life. Their passion was reaching a frenzied state. He could hear T’Pol’s breathing get quicker and her moans deeper. T'Pol laid her mate down on the floor, straddling his abdomen as she did so. She moved her hand over his face and a rush of powerful emotions flooded his mind. 'GOD!' he thought ‘You’re in my mind!' 'Yes' she thought to him 'don't be afraid' 'I'm not..it's just incredible.' he thought to her' we are together..I am you..you are me' 'We know how we feel as one' they exclaimed together As they continued to explore the sensual pleasures of each other's mind..T'Pol did not neglect the physical pleasures and proceeded to rake her nails over his chest enough to reach that level between pain and pleasure. She took his cock in her hand, massaging his engorged sex. Trip Tucker was lost in a torrent of stimulation. He couldn’t wait much longer. T'Pol rose up on her knees and brought his throbbing member in to her own hot sex. "OOOhhh God" was all Trip Tucker could get out. He was plunging into ecstasy. T'Pol began thrusting herself into Trip's body, bringing him even deeper into her. Squeezing her muscles in a rhythmic motion that was sending Trip Tucker over the top. Trip could feel his climax building. When he felt he could hold out no longer he pulled T'Pol’s mouth to his own. He began to tense and let out a low moan followed by a shudder and an uncontrollable orgasm. His own orgasm brought on T'Pol’s, whose last amount of restraint was lost to a tempest of pleasure. A scream of ecstasy tore from her lips as she screamed out in mind and body. "Oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!" she screamed. They both road the incredible waves of pleasure they were experiencing until it overwhelmed them. T'Pol collapsed on her mate’s heaving chest. She hugged herself close to Trip Tucker, unable to speak. Trip was the first one to say something. "That was..." he tried to catch his breath"..incredible." She looked at him with a slight smile then leaned down and kissed him. "Thank you..for saving my life..for considering me friend...for making me feel as I did just now." "I guess there isn't much I can say." he exclaimed "You know my thoughts." "As you know mine." she smiled. The man and the woman...the Human and the Vulcan lay together until sleep overpowered their weary bodies. The two had been joined together as one for a brief moment... that would forever change both of their lives. FIN Continued in Hearts and Minds One person has made commentsI really enjoyed this, it put a great big smile on my face. Poor Trip, shattered and already bone weary really is not up to denying T'Pol anything. Lucky old T'Pol! Well done, Ali D :~) Post a review
